One day while I was at home and in the process of doing some house cleaning, discouraging and doubting thoughts began to enter my mind. I started to feel depressed and unhappy.
Then I stopped what I was doing and proclaimed out loud, "I know the gospel is true!"
To my surprise there was suddenly more light around me, and something dark seemed to leave my living room.
I began to understand that the adversary does not like testimonies, and won't stay in the presence of those who bare them.
The words to the song, "I Know," came from my experience that day.
When trials hang so heavily
That I can hardly pray;
